Angélica García Genel

Born and raised in Cuernavaca, Mexico, I’ve built my career connecting cultures through multimedia communication, language, and education.

With a Ph.D. and master’s in Spanish and 15+ years of experience in U.S. higher education, I am passionate about creating Spanish learning experiences that are practical and culturally meaningful.

From designing eLearning courses for universities to developing Spanish lessons for the Defense Language Institute, my work highlights a deep understanding of bilingual communication and innovative instructional design.

​

Before pursuing my academic career, I earned a degree in Communications in Mexico, where multimedia tools and storytelling shaped my teaching and content creation approach.
